Whiterocks Bay
The white limestone cliffs of Whiterocks Bay range from Curran Beach at Portrush to Dunluce Castle. Wind and weather have left their mark here for centuries and have ground a wide variety of shapes into the soft rock. The coastline is characterised by caves and surf gates, some of which can be viewed from a distance (The Wishing Arch), while others can be reached on foot from Whiterocks Strand. Even without exuberant imagination you can see the shape of a face (Giant’s Head) in the white rock from the Mageracross parking lot while looking towards Dunluce Castle.
