Antrim Coast Road
The Antrim coast stretches between Larne in the south and Cushendall in the north. The Antrim Coast Road, built in the mid-19th century, runs along this stretch of coast and has enjoyed great popularity ever since. As part of the A2 it runs from Larne along the coast to Cushendall, from where the A2 then leads inland. In the hinterland lie the scenic Glens of Antrim, which gently end here towards the sea. Near Glenarm you will find one of the most beautiful coastlines of the Emerald Isle. Rugged limestone rocks and white pebble beaches characterize the varied landscape. A footpath leads directly along the sea, on which one can explore the coastal section best.
