Wooden Bridge Clontarf

Wooden Bridge in Clontarf

The single-lane Wooden Bridge leads over to the North Bull Wall and Bull Island at Dollymount. The wooden bridge was built in 1819 during the construction of the Bull Wall and was to be demolished after completion of the construction work. But the locals thankfully stood up for its preservation.
