Bray Cliff Walk

Bray Cliff Walk

While in the 1840s a seemingly adventurous railway line was built along the cliffs between Bray and Greystones, the hiking trail known today as Cliff Walk was built parallel to it. It served as a supply road during the construction phase. The almost seven-kilometre-long hiking trail takes about two hours to complete and rewards with wonderful views of the Irish Sea. For the way back to Bray it is best to take the regional train DART and enjoy a spectacular trip along the sea. From Cliff Walk, paths branch off up to Bray Head. This way you can turn the excursion into a circular hike.
