Copper Coast
The Copper Coast is named after the copper mines that once operated here. The great days of this industry are long gone and today the coastal area seems to be fallen in a deep sleep. What has remained is its unique geological diversity, which is why the region was named a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2004.
Untouched nature, small villages and mainly the rugged coast with its small bays attract visitors to discover this unique stretch of coast.
