Islandmagee
Halfway between Carrickfergus and Larne lies the Islandmagee peninsula. Recently the Gobbins Cliff Path, a seaside trail at the foot of 60 meter high cliffs, has brought her a little attention. Otherwise, its location away from the tourist streams makes the peninsula a real insider tip, where there is a lot to discover, for example the picture-book port of Portmuck. Embedded in a lush green hilly landscape lies a beautiful sandy beach behind the quay wall and the small Muck Island in front of it is only a stone's throw away.
