Ards Peninsula
Southeast of Belfast, the Ards Peninsula stretches between the North Channel and Strangford Lough. Many tourists are primarily familiar with Mount Stewart House and Gardens. But the peninsula has much more to offer. Near Mount Stewart you will find the ruins of Grey Abbey or the lovingly restored village of Kearney Village in the south of the peninsula. A discovery tour leads past secluded coastal strips and through dreamy landscapes. While the southern peninsula seems very isolated, the north is quite busy due to the proximity to Belfast.
