Caisleán Bhaile Sheáin
County Wexford

It is not so much the neo gothic castle that is of general interest, but rather the surrounding parks. The building is not accessible anyway. But that doesn’t really matter, because the impressive tree population and the accurately laid out gardens are the real attraction of the property. A discovery tour leads around a large pond and Johnstown Castle becomes more and more a decorative backdrop.

The Irish Agricultural Museum is located on the site.
