Fair Head

An Bhinn Mhór
County Antrim

In the very north-east of Ireland, the landscape is dominated by the striking 196 metre high Fair Head, also called Benmore. From the high plateau of the headland not only Rathlin Island but also the Scottish Mull of Kintyre seems within reach. The total length of Ireland is often indicated by the distance from ‘Fair Head to Mizen Head’.
